Israeli Ambassador visiting Airport City
Beginning of September we had an opportunity to greet His Excellency, Israeli Ambassador to Serbia in ACB.
In long and pleasant conversation with his host our distinguished guest, Mr.Arthur Koll, expressed his satisfaction with progress of the biggest Israeli investment in Serbia and wished ACB a prosperous future.

New success
Airport City Belgrade awarded by Europaproperty as The BEST OFFICE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT of the Year in SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE
AirportCity Belgrade is winner of this years Europaproperty Award for The BEST OFFICE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT of the Year 2007 in SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE.
Europaproperty.com is specialized for real estate development in Southeastern Europe. Every year their jury of 15 most eminent professionals from real estate field decides in several categories on the best projects in the region.
On Ceremony in Buckurest beginning of May 2008, ACB received the Award which is even more precious having in mind hard competition from all surrounded countries.

In period less than a year, our team built two new buildings as a part of III phase.

Celebration in Airport City
On September 6th, a celebration took place to mark a completion of the second and a start of the third phase of Airport city building.
Guests were addressed by vice president of the Government, Mr. Božidar Đelić, president of Novi Beograd community Mr. Željko Ožegović, then, on behalf of the Company owner, by Mr. Arie Bachar, co-owner of Tidhar and Mr. Gili Dekel, CEO of the Airport City.
Besides satisfaction with exceptionally fast and successful project development and providing of new jobs, a significance of this investment was emphasized for the entire development of Belgrade as well as the importance of the modern business center concept for the development of New Belgrade.
The vice president of the Government, Mr. Đelić pointed out the importance of dealing with system preconditions such as adoption of the Law on land property in order to create more agreeable environment for investments.
Prestigious clients in already filled second phase of the project speak for themselves about the quality and advantages of our Business Park.
At the celebration, a project Park of Sculptures - new project aimed to support the local art scene was promoted. The project was intended to emphasize once again our leader position in establishing new visual identity of New Belgrade. In future, sculptures of Belgrade artists will find their place within ACB for the joy and pleasure of our clients, the artists who will use this space to tie Belgrade sensibility with values of international business park and ACB, which is gradually developing into the gathering place of successful companies.

Sculpture Park
Park of Sculptures, which was introduced as a project at celebration on September 6th, is our attempt to create a room for the interaction of local art scene, values and visual qualities of Business Park on one hand, and the expectations of our business partners – residents of ACB, on the other.
In future, we plan to motivate sculptors – art students, young and still not established as well as already well-known sculptors, through various forms of competitions to create sculptors in the open, in the Avenues of Airport City. The first contest was completed with the exhibition of works of three artists – Sabrina Maksimović, Gabriel Glid and Marko Kratohvil who have created their “visual response” to Airport City.

Next two buildings in Business Park would be finished as planned and new tenants are planning to move in this summer as soon as their premises are suited to their specific requests.

Vision of the future Belgrade
During Ekonomist Conference on Real Estate Market in South East Europe a panel discussion on how the Serbian capital would look like in the future took place.
Participants shared their vision on various aspects of possibilities to invest, development and change in looks and function of certain parts of the city. City Mayor Mr.Nenad Bogdanovic and City Architect Mr.Djordje Bobic gave their insight into urban plans, available locations, infrastructure and potential and present problems emphasizing how new investments are of crucial importance for further development.
Mr.Gili Dekel, Airport City CEO, Mr.Robert Snow (Managing Director GTC) and Mr.David Ericsson (Business Manager, Marina Dorcol) shared their vision from foreign investor’s perspective. Discussion was very well attended and was another opportunity for city officials and investors/developers to exchange their views.

President Tadić visited Airport City Belgrade
President of Republic of Serbia, Mr.Boris Tadić and Mayor of Belgrade Mr. Nenad Bogdanović accompanied by Mayor of New Belgrade Mr.Željko Ožegović, visited Airport City Belgrade in the beginning of January, during their visit to New Belgrade which is considered the most prosperous development Belgrade district.
In fruitful and pleasant discussion with their host, Mr.Gili Dekel, Airport City CEO, distinguished guests had an opportunity to learn about development plans and progress of the second phase of ACB.
All members of delegation in which experts on Serbian economy like Mr.Đelić and Mr.Vlahović took part stressed that foreign investments of this size are important and welcomed part of Serbian economy.

ACB received Award as the best project of the office space in Belgrade
On recently held BelRe Real Estate and Investment Fair, Airport City Belgrade was awarded as the best project in the category of office space in Belgrade.
President of the Award Committee Mr.Đ.Bobić, City Architect, said that Belgrade is changing fast due to new investments and beautiful new architectural projects growing fast in Serbia's capital.

Cornerstone ceremony
We started the second phase in construction of Airport City Belgrade – next two buildings with further 20.000 m2.
In presence of officials from Serbian State, City of Belgrade, and Israeli Ambassador to Serbia, as well representatives of Africa Israel and Tidhar corporations, builders and architects the Charter for prosperity was signed. It states:
“Our wish and aim is for Airport City Belgrade to become a symbol of entrepreneurial development, a visual inspiration a project that will provide quality and comfort to its users and as integral part of the city in which it lives, act as security to economic prosperity, creating work places and attracting other investments to Serbia. We the charter signatories, together with builders of the project, are dedicated to helping the development of Airport City Belgrade with persistency, knowledge and quality, for the benefit and pride of the people of Serbia and all residents of Belgrade”

Airport City Belgrade received OECD Award for the Largest Greenfield Investment in SEE
"Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has given the awards to the investors in the region on its Annual meeting in Vienna.
Director of the Agency for Foreign Investments and the Promotion of Export (SIEPA) Jasna Matić stated yesterday, in a press conference, that the winning of the award for the best Greenfield investment in the region for the third time in a row demonstrated that Serbia was in the centre of the region and showed the biggest growth in Europe and that it was also expected for this trend to continue in the following five to six years.
Director of the Airport City Belgrade, Gili Dekel reminded that 20 million Euros have been invested thus far and that over the course of the following several years 120 million Euros would be invested in building the first business park in this region which would offer about 126.000 square meters of A-class business space"
